A Sr. Email Marketing Manager to join our Demand Generation team. This role’s core responsibility will be to plan, orchestrate and oversee a high performing email marketing program aimed to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), pipeline growth, improve database health and optimize our segmentation strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop manage and implement the global email calendar to support demand generation MQL campaigns, product launches, ABM, direct mail, events, webinars and more
- Build all facets of our email program, including list segmentation, emails, campaign automation, landing pages and reporting
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to improve database segmentation and overall database health
- Implement and optimize trigger-based MQL programs to accelerate down-funnel conversions
- Proactively report on email results, impact on pipeline, database health and provide insight and suggestions
- Upgrade email templates and landing pages using graphics, personalization, and other advanced features
- Conduct ongoing A/B tests of all aspects of the email strategy (subject lines, copy, frequency, time of day/week, etc.) and communicate the results of these tests through reporting
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
- 8-10 years in B2B SaaS demand generation and email marketing roles
- Expertise building dynamic, highly-targeted messaging and campaigns tailored to distinct buyer personas
- Adept at creating communication flows based on user behavior
- Excellent copywriter and written communicator
- A keen eye for email UX and design
- Strong knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and Demandbase
- Knowledge of email best practices including, subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management, deliverability, privacy laws, GDPR and CAN-SPAM laws
- Proven track record of driving demand through targeted campaigns and nurture programs
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and thoughtful QA process
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Positive, flexible, and well organized to thrive in a rapid environment and meet challenging deadlines
- This person must be a self-starter, highly motivated, team player and problem solver
- Passion for results, measurement and optimization to continuously drive ROI
