Role: Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Company: ohne LTD

Location: Lisbon, London or Remote

Application deadline: June 13th, 2021

ohne is the hyper-personalised subscription service delivering products for the entire menstrual cycle. With a range of period products and cycle care products, ohne customers receive product deliveries bespoke to them along with resources and support to ensure every user has full autonomy over their entire cycle. ohne launched and became a Techstars alumni company in ‘19, and has shipped over 1.5 million products and seen over 100% revenue growth in the last 12 months. Backed by global venture funds, we’re now on the hunt for our next hire: Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead and execute all lifecycle touchpoints and campaigns at ohne.

The ideal candidate is a proven expert in cross-functional channels, and will thrive in a fast-moving startup ecosystem. You will be responsible for leading our lifecycle strategy using historical behavioural data, before implementing across multiple channels, analysing and tweaking according to what you know works in order to optimise acquisition, retention and engagement.

In this role you’ll be a self-starter, constantly seeking to optimise the customer journey and touch points, and excited to work across the team to implement your game changing strategies. You’ve got perseverance (without an ego) and grit and are excited to lead lifecycle at an early stage startup! Above all, you’re passionate about creating authentic positive change for women (and people that bleed) as well as the planet.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll own marketing automation platforms, leading ideation and implementation of campaigns in order to drive acquisition, retention, loyalty and engagement using cross-channel messaging including email, push, SMS and on site.
  • You’ll create and track meaningful leads, and be creative about turning them into engaged ohne users.
  • You’ll be constantly striving to improve LTV:CAC, analysing customer cohorts and their behaviours (as well as market insights) to create powerful strategies and implement these cross-channel customer lifecycle campaigns.
  • You’ll work cross functionally with the growth and brand marketing teams to ensure successful and well aligned campaigns, integrating with the technical team for additional leverage as well.
  • You’ll frequently analyse data and feedback, measuring the success of campaigns to continuously optimise for best results and report this feedback to the team.
  • You’ll continue to learn and keep up to date with industry trends and changes.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You have 4+ years in lifecycle or email marketing, with experience working with membership or subscription brands, ideally in the consumer goods space.
  • You’re proficient with demonstrable knowledge and have hands-on experience in a range of channels including SMS, push notifications, onsite, and email marketing.
  • You’ve got a strong background in acquisition, retention and re-engagement strategies.
  • You’ve got the technical skills to implement campaigns with the analytical eye to assess performance, and the confidence to update or pivot quickly depending on analysed results.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You’ve got a sleeves-up, hands-on approach and you love the chaos and wins from a startup environment where no two days are the same.
  • You’re naturally curious with a desire to learn.

  • Competitive salary.
  • Unlimited holidays on top of your 28 days off – hard work requires recharge time, and we’re flexible about how much you take (as long as it’s more than 28 days!) and when. We also enforce a company wide holiday day off once every month.
  • Wellness package – budget for you to spend on you, every month.
  • Flexibility work locations – ohne started as a London-centric company, but continued to hire the best talent regardless of location. This means you have freedom to choose your work location (assuming core hours are in a similar time zone). You can join our London hub, or decide your location for yourself. If you’d like one, we’ll make sure we provide you with a co-working space/ office space wherever you choose to be.
  • Flexible work, both times and remote work – we know that commuting during rush hour sucks wherever you are, and we know that every now and again, gaining some vitamin D whilst you work from a sun terrace is needed, and we’re all for it. You can move around as much as you like.
  • Work policies that actually care about you as an individual and have your best interests at their core.
  • Team Trips (COVID allowing)
  • Working alongside a team of young, passionate people who encourage, support and nurture one another.

Still here? Next steps:

Send Leah an email at [email protected] and include:

  • A short cover letter telling us about why you’re great for this role and a little bit about yourself.
  • Your CV

Note: please include the role you are applying for in the subject line.
