In this role, you will lead our robust email marketing programs - from lead generation to prospect nurturing to customer support - and work to drive demonstrable growth in channel performance and revenue impact. You will manage audience segmentation, email creative, A/B testing, and performance tracking and optimization. You will lead two direct reports and work collaboratively with other product marketing, design, and technology team members to amplify content, strategize cross-channel campaigns, and build email journeys that help attract, convert, and retain customers.


Our office is Burlington, MA and this is a hybrid position (remote + in-person).


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of all email campaigns and journeys, including onboarding, lead nurturing, support, and customer retention. Manage team to execute end-to-end, from creative and segmentation through deployment and reporting
  • Collaborate with product marketing to accomplish shared KPIs on lead generation, lead nurturing, customer retention, and more.
  • Develop and manage our robust email marketing calendar to ensure we are sufficiently promoting new and established products, building thought leadership with key audiences, and supporting customers to increase lifetime value
  • Deliver qualified leads for the sales teams. Execute on account-based and territory-specific marketing opportunities when present
  • Partner with marketing technology colleagues to acquire customer behavior and conversion data from multiple sources and leverage within our marketing automation system to drive more relevant, personalized campaigns
  • Partner with legal and other colleagues to ensure email compliance and adherence to global best practices
  • Design a robust A/B testing and experimentation roadmap to uncover key insights and opportunities for improvements.
  • Own the reporting, dashboards, and key marketing metrics for email campaigns. Provide regular updates on program effectiveness to Marketing leaders
  • Coach and mentor your team to drive innovation, accountability, and performance


Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to understand customer needs along their journeys, including the ability to send the right message to the right person at the right time
  • Strong project management skills, including experience working collaboratively across teams to execute projects
  • Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment, prioritize projects, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills. Must be able to experiment and measure results to improve performance and demonstrate success
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to customers, colleagues, and leadership


Experience & Education

  • 8+ years digital marketing experience, including proven ability to drive customer demand, retention, and revenue growth
  • 5+ years of customer lifecycle marketing leveraging CRM, marketing automation platforms, and associated technologies is required.
  • HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
  • Experience managing customer segmentation, email deliverability, subscriber preferences, and engagement campaigns required
  • Account-based marketing and international email marketing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
