About the role


We’re seeking a dynamic marketer to drive the growth of the CRM program at JustAnswer! The Senior CRM Marketing Manager will unlock opportunities to build strong customer relationships and dramatically scale the performance of our current program. We’re looking for a passionate individual who is well versed in CRM and/or performance marketing, is skilled in both strategic planning and campaign execution, and strikes an effective balance between creative and analytical thinking. The role reports to the Senior Director of Retention Marketing and is based in our San Francisco office (remote arrangements will also be considered). 


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Contribute to development of quarterly and annual plans for Email, SMS and Push Note channels 
  • Design and implement complex marketing tests to help uncover growth opportunities  
  • Assist with execution of targeted marketing campaigns, in partnership with engineering, analytics and user experience teams 
  • Evaluate program results, including identifying success metrics, performance drivers and implications 
  • Spearhead customer insight collection, including setting direction for customer research and analyses and conducting competitive assessments  
  • Regularly share program results and customer insights with the broader company 
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to implement cohesive experiences across the customer journey 
  • Partner with engineering teams in developing capabilities for executing highly personalized marketing campaigns 
  • Support CRM program expansion by launching new communication channels and reaching new audiences 


Knowledge and Skills



  • 10+ years experience in performance/direct marketing, including email marketing 
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer segmentation strategies 
  • Expertise in developing channel-level marketing plans, including testing roadmaps 
  • Deep familiarity with direct marketing creative best practices  
  • Extensive expertise (and an eagerness to roll up your sleeves) with executing digital marketing campaigns, including creative and technical components 
  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships with work partners and driving consensus 
  • Creative thinker who takes initiative to try new approaches  
  • Proficient in evaluating performance data  
  • Able to simultaneously manage a wide range of projects while hitting milestones and driving growth 
  • Experience mentoring other team members
