The Marketing Strategist – Membership collaborates closely with Manager, Retention Marketing, Membership Marketing, Digital Marketing, Email Operations and a wide range of business partners to elevate, innovate, and bring to life the lululemon membership experience. You believe in the power and purpose of our membership program, and take ownership of each stage of the guest journey. A genuine desire to provide a cohesive digital guest experience is essential for your success in this role.

A Day In The Life

  • Creates innovative personalized membership strategies that provide leading-edge guest experiences and meet business objectives.
  • Develops Email, Push, Paid Media, Paid Search strategy to support Membership growth, guest engagement and retention
  • Set up and monitor Paid Media and Paid Search campaigns. Work with Email Operations to execute email and push campaigns.
  • Analyze prior campaign results across multiple digital marketing channels and develop new ways to optimize and test & learn for future campaigns.
  • Works cross-functionally with a wide range of partners to achieve success and innovation; you may have a meeting with a Creative Production team, followed by a touchbase with Martech developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners in Membership, Ecommerce, Creative, MarTech and other business partners to manage campaign planning and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work with CRM team and digital marketing channel owners to optimize guest journey and facilitate cross-channel testing.
  • Maintain a keen eye on efficiency in campaign planning; prioritizing content and experiences tailored to the guest journey using dynamic content, automated data pipelines, and triggered experiences.
  • Report and provide analysis on key metrics for multiple channels – Email, App Push, Paid media, Paid search etc; and communicate results to stakeholders in a digestible and timely manner.
  • Support Membership dashboard development that tracks key metrics across regions and markets

Must Haves

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to create compelling persona and guest-first strategies.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (Excel, Omniture, Google 360, PowerBI) with desire to grow.
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle-campaign concepting and management.
  • Foundational understanding of automation and dynamic content, with desire to grow.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
  • Creative problem solver and ability to handle pressure with grace.
  • Possesses a proven work ethic and ability to go the extra mile.
  • Flexible in nature and comfortable with ambiguity and change; retail experience strongly preferred
  • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
