The Opportunity

The Email Developer Specialist role will be responsible for the development and execution of database marketing email outreach for Ally Financial across multiple lines of business. As an integral part of the database marketing team, this person will interact with business partners on the marketing team to ensure emails are built and delivered accurately, and according to brand & accessibility standards, as well as follow current email best practices.

This role works from the Ally office in Charlotte, NC. Ally offers a Hybrid weekly schedule of 3 days in office and 2 from home.

The Work Itself

• Develop and launch complex and responsive emails using internal and external agency assets.
• Setup and deploy one off and recurring automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Conduct detail-oriented team audits of all deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy of emails across multiple desktop and mobile devices.

The Skills You Bring

• 1+ years of professional experience in email development, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Strong technical abilities leveraging dynamic data, AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, and ASP.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to work with diverse business partners with competing objectives.
• Attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
• Professional communication across roles and functions throughout the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other related field preferred.
