Getaround is a peer to peer carsharing marketplace, providing people with a flexible and contactless way to book and share cars from nearby car owners. We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to support the development of our marketing tech stack and data pipelines, code beautiful emails that inspire and delight our customers, and flawlessly execute automations and multi-channel campaigns that drive true business impact.
The Getaround marketing team is lean and resourceful- we’re looking for someone who is a self-starter and excited to be part of a growing team. The right candidate for this role will have exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven track record of working successfully across all functional teams- including marketing, growth, data, product, and sales.
What You'll Be Doing...
Marketing System(s) Operations
Continually learn, research, recommend, and implement email and marketing automation best practices
Work alongside CRM Manager to support and enable campaigns and lifecycle automations across email, in-app, push, and web push messaging
Optimize Marketing Sales funnel by working closely with sales to support lead routing and piping issues
Strong understanding of segmentation practices and list cleaning/filtering
Drive efforts to integrate 3rd party tools for new and existing communication channels
Data Management & Analytics
Structure data across multiple data sources maintaining good database hygiene and compliance with global opt-in laws and regulations
Implement data pipelines between Customer Data Infrastructure, Marketing Automation Platform, and Analytics tools to collect and leverage user attributes, engagement and conversion data
Monitor and report on the effective flow of data through our systems, programs, and processes
HTML Development for Email & In-app messaging
Develop mobile-responsive HTML emails and in-app messages using HTML, CSS, advanced scripting, and media queries
Validated experience in campaign-based A/B testing, execution, and analysis
What You'll Need...
3+ years of Iterable platform experience (alternate ESPs and marketing automation platforms will be considered)
Experience working across various growth CDPs (Attribution, Segment, Iterable, Google Analytics) and managing the data and information flows between them
Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
Strong analytical skills. Loves working with data. Strong SQL skills desired
3+ years of front end email development experience (portfolio examples preferred)
Strong adeptness for troubleshooting user data, workflow errors, and operational gaps
Experience supporting and enabling mobile channels - including push, in-app, SMS.
Experience in new tool investigation, POC, and implementation
Design experience in figma, photoshop
Knowledge of sales ops (ex: lead scoring, funnel tracking)
Experience in web operations (forms, routing, etc.)
