What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day, hands-on management of Jamf’s Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo). In this role, this individual will manage and execute scalable and repeatable operational processes for marketing programs and campaigns, ensuring all relevant data points are captured and reportable. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of marketing automation, lead lifecycles, database management and CRMs and how to apply them in collaboration with the Jamf Marketing Automation and Email team. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Automation.


  • Manage and execute scalable and repeatable operational processes for marketing programs and campaigns, ensuring all relevant data points are captured and reportable
  • Perform day-to-day configuration and maintenance of Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo), driving improvements and employing best practices
  • Ensure leads from demand generation activities are attributed correctly, efficiently uploaded in Marketo and Salesforce and properly assigned to sales teams while monitoring follow-up 
  • Implement enhancements and optimize lead scoring to ensure qualified leads are passed to sales in real-time to increase quantity and quality of marketing sourced opportunities 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to maintain lead lifecycle operations and ensure best practices are being met
  • Own database management and cleanliness in order to accurately segment audiences, uphold data governance requirements and improve email engagement performance to ensure legal compliance with international opt-in laws and regulation
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analysts to build, manage and maintain a reporting structure showing marketing program and campaign results, ROI, and identify key areas of improvement for alignment achieving department and company goals
  • Develop segmentation strategies to increase engagement and conversion performance across the funnel
  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Sales Operations to initiate Salesforce requests reporting and help ticket assistance
  • Support the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Marketo, ensuring clean integrations, data sharing/syncing, and processes
  • Initiate and manage project plans in project management tool that enables communication with key stakeholders, resources, deliverables and deadlines 
  • Prepares and delivers presentations for Marketing and Sales leaders; assists with ongoing training and implementation of new marketing processes
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and technologies; utilizes findings to implement improvements to emails and program performance

Skills & Requirements

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism or related major preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Adobe Certified Expert – Marketo Engage Business Practitioner (Formerly known as: Marketo Certified Expert)
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing automation platform demonstrating progressive knowledge and growth in responsibilities (required) 
  • 4+ years of experience in a Marketing or Sales Operations environment (required) 
  • 3+ years of experience with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) (required) 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high tech B2B industry (preferred) 
  • Solid understanding of go-to market strategies and sales revenue impact
  • Proven experience building lead scoring in conjunction with lead lifecycle frameworks 
  • Ability to analyze email data, extract trends and create reports in Salesforce 
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terms and ideas to audiences of varying expertise with the ability to level up 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines simultaneously while proactively managing up
  • Ability to think quickly, adapt and resolve conflicts with an interactive improvement mindset 
  • Values the importance of researching new ideas, new challenges, and exploring new opportunities to meet company and department goals 
  • Outstanding attention to detail
