About The Role

StyleSeat is looking for a Lifecycle Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the strategy, execution, optimization and analysis of our lifecycle campaigns. You will have worked across different communication channels, executing automated journeys and one-off campaigns to drive behavior, tell an engaging story and build brand loyalty. You are obsessed with understanding the user journey, and are constantly looking for creative ways to make their journey better through messaging.


Reporting to the Senior Lifecycle Manager, you'll coordinate and help execute our lifecycle marketing strategy on both sides of our marketplace - Pro/Stylist and Client - using various communication channels (e.g. email, SMS, push and in-app). You'll test and report on the success of different campaigns designed to drive business impact as well as optimize channel metrics.


What You'll Do

Main Responsibilities

  • Help build and maintain our map of the customer journey through our lifecycle communications
  • Develop and execute email, push and SMS strategies for promotional, lifecycle, transactional and triggered campaigns for both sides of the marketplace; Pro/Stylist and clients.
  • Gain an understanding of both sides of our marketplace to help identify opportunities for new communications, segmentation and testing
  • Develop and manage creative briefs, working closely with design, copy, and other marketing functions to create communications that drive behavior, solve pain points and tell our brand story
  • Conduct weekly reporting on email, push and SMS campaign performance, identifying areas of improvement and provide learnings and recommendations
  • Identify and execute A/B and multivariate testing on subject lines, content, design and send time to optimize our communications
  • Partner with stakeholders on the coordination and execution of our lifecycle programs, including product, CX, analytics
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry policies and best practices, as well as our brand guidelines

  • Develop process to map our pro and client journeys through lifecycle communications
  • Operationalize our monthly campaign reporting process to identify areas for optimization and for communication to other stakeholders
  • Develop understanding of StyleSeat's pro and client user journeys including product knowledge to drive impact through lifecycle campaigns


Success Metrics

  • Map of our StyleSeat pros and clients journey through lifecycle communications
  • Optimization and development of new content to drive Lifecycle's key metrics including channel metrics e.g. open rate and company OKRs

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of email and/or SMS marketing experience, with a track record of high performance
  • Hands-on experience with ESPs, and/or marketing automation and marketing platforms (Iterable, Braze, or similar)
  • Ability to manage and adapt to shifting timelines and priorities
  • Experience briefing and working with design/copy teams to create compelling email templates that drive action
  • Knowledge of email and SMS best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and an impeccable eye for detail
  • Strong communicator and collaborator

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with B2C, Consumer Services or Marketplaces
  • Brand Marketing experience/exposure
  • Experience in beauty industry
