About The Role

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will be a new member of the Member Marketing team, which is part of the broader Marketing department. You will be responsible for member retention; helping to manage churn while building member loyalty. You will get to work across multiple platforms and collaborate cross-functionally focusing on experimentation, personalization, and data driven solutions.


We are looking for someone who is passionate about member experience and can combine creative thinking with analytical skills to enhance the customer journey and minimize churn. They will be a self-starter who can operate with minimal guidance and has proven experience using analytics to uncover meaningful insights. They will also possess the ability to think critically about the member lifecycle and come up with new insights to better connect with members based on where they are in their journey.


Responsibilities

  • Lead all churn programs including onboarding programs, cancellation flow, billing soon workflow, and credit card declines with the goal of reducing cancels and increasing subscriber retention
  • Work on email campaigns and automated email flows across various subscriber lifecycle stages helping build out a world-class subscriber retention program
  • Execute and report on A/B and multivariate tests to drive engagement and loyalty
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Product & Engineering, Customer Support, Analytics and Design teams to implement and report on retention email programs
  • Report on subscriber churn, cancel data and cohort insights; make recommendations on a regular basis to leadership
  • Define, analyze and validate metrics and hypotheses to advise decision-making and measure the success of marketing initiatives
  • Lead loyalty programming and enhance member experience by testing campaigns and on-site experience


Requirements

  • 2+ years in marketing, retention, or churn focused role
  • Understanding of subscriber lifecycle journeys, leveraging omni-channel marketing to improve LTV, retention and CPA:LTV ratio
  • Knowledge of email industry best practices and direct experience working in an ESP preferred
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and using data-backed business cases to drive projects through
  • Strong communicator with meticulous attention to detail & superb organizational skills
  • Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across all departments, in particular product & engineering teams
