Ideal candidates will have experience with developing new nurture streams and workflows and optimizing current email campaigns to cross sell and generate revenue while delivering a measurable impact. You know how to segment and write compelling messages calling your audience to want more. You enjoy working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders while bringing best practices to our set of brands. We sell software that helps software developers do their job. This is a fairly technical field which you should enjoy. This role report to the Director of Marketing and belong to the marketing shared services group.




  • Manage full lifecycle of email marketing calendar throughout 5 software brands
  • Manage and measure all contact points throughout the lifecycle with emphasis on renewals 
  • Design and launch collaboratively cross-sell and upsell campaigns across multiple brands
  • Plan and develop a strategy to grow and segment our marketing database with high quality, opt-in contacts
  • Implement and continually improve an email marketing strategy with clear KPIs in partnership with the Director of Demand Generation
  • Oversee and manage email marketing campaigns with email marketing specialists end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, A/B testing, execution, reporting, and optimization 
  • Manage 1 or 2 email marketing specialists 
  • Build personalized journeys using our marketing automation platform (Eloqua), Including campaign workflows, and building segments/audiences/lists 
  • Co-Own and implement marketing tests to drive optimizations (e.g. creative, subject lines, audience segments, triggers, etc) 
  • Partner with the creative team to create assets 
  • Collaborate with content and product marketing to distribute relevant content 
  • Develop, communicate, and analyze the performance of campaigns and report on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
  • Find opportunities to increase the registration-to-paid conversion 
  • Work with marketing, product, and analytics team to build and execute campaigns across emails 
  • Be responsible for performance against key top-line business critical metrics including growing paid tier activation and improving retention 
  • Project manage across analytics, product, and marketing to meet fast-paced schedules while ensuring quality


Required skills:


  •  3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing the email marketing channel 
  • Ability to write effective on-brand copy is a necessity, together with meticulous attention to detail 
  • Creative and insightful problem solver; you care deeply about our users and can build detailed targeting as well as fabulous, on-brand experiences for them 
  • Proven track record developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into improvements that drive results
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring success of email campaigns 
  • Strong experience with an automation tool (Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot); Eloqua experience highly desired but not necessary. Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related business field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams, specifically with product, data science, and marketing operations 
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
