With interest in the stock market surging among a new generation of investors, our community is growing rapidly. To support our ambitious goals, our team is growing and we're looking for sharp, enthusiastic people who believe in our mission to fundamentally change the way people invest. In normal circumstances, we're located in New York with an office in Copenhagen, but in these times we're maintaining momentum as a remote team. This role is remote for now, but will eventually be based in our New York office. You will report to our Head of Acquisition Marketing.


What you'll do:


Public is looking for a talented Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our performance marketing team to support our ambitious growth goals. In this role, you will be responsible for developing programs to increase the retention and engagement of our customers by leveraging your expertise in email, push notifications, loyalty programs, and in-app messaging. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of mobile marketing, user segmentation, and cohort analysis.


Some other responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute CRM strategies that encourage conversion, retention, loyalty, and referrals
  • Manage day to day efforts across email, in-app, and push notifications
  • Develop strategies for customer segmentation, targeting, and contact method to maximize conversion rate and improve engagement
  • Create business rules that automate content, triggers, audience segmentation, channel selection, messaging and communications cadence
  • Ensure all communications meet quality, branding, voice, and content guidelines
  • Partner with product and engineering to identify features that will support CRM marketing initiatives


What were looking for:

  • 4+ years CRM and retention marketing experience, with a strong preference for mobile experience.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns end to end
  • Experience working with marketing automation or CRM tools
  • Proven track record of building world class CRM programs at a tech company or start up
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization for conversion, retention, and engagement
  • You share in our mission to change the culture of investing
