About The Job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Fitbit’s diverse line of innovative products of smartwatches, trackers, and smart scales help people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration, and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals. Our products deliver personalized experiences, insights, and guidance through leading software and interactive tools to support our users’ health and wellness.

In this role, you will lead a global team that aims to nurture and enrich the relationship with the Fitbit customer by delivering great experiences through the email channel at key moments in the customer lifecycle.

You will lead the Email Marketing team to support onboarding, engagement, retention, and upgrade/cross-promote programs. You will execute global email campaigns through a collaborative cross-functional process from conception to launch and deliver on business and customer retention objectives and key results (OKRs).

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

  • Build an email testing roadmap to continuously improve program performance and partner with the Operations team to launch programs.
  • Partner with the analytics team to identify the key drivers of the upgrade, engagement, and identify actionable insights from customer data to continually improve global CRM efforts.
  • Communicate marketing plans, objectives and key results tracking, and email program results internally to ensure key learnings are shared with stakeholders.
