Hawthorne is seeking a Growth Lifecycle Associate who will be a part of the Growth Marketing team and report into the Growth Lifecycle Lead. This role will be responsible for end-to-end product, promo, and content storytelling across multiple owned channels including email and SMS.

What You’ll Do

  • Own, ideate, create, and execute our campaign stories end-to-end with compelling messaging and strategies across email, sms, and other owned channels
  • Deeply research and understand product stories, content stories, brand stories, and offers and creatively storytell and message them to our audience
  • Assess performance regularly by closely tracking metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates and run experiments to optimize campaign performance
  • Create cohesive cross-channel contact and messaging strategy across email, SMS, website, content landing pages, and paid social to engage, retain, and delight users
  • Help ideate, develop, and implement annual marketing calendar, new product launches, seasonal offers, and one-off promotions
  • Work very closely cross-functionally with our Brand and Creative teams
  • Develop personalized messaging and experience for user segments leveraging all collected data points across multiple platforms and tools
  • Seek an omnichannel approach to bring personalization to the customer’s journey at various stages in efforts to increase frequency of purchase and cross-category purchases


Who You Are

  • 1 to 3 years of growth marketing related experience, preferably at a consumer startup brand
  • A creative storyteller who understands the importance of brand & messaging
  • A very strong writer with the ability to adopt and adapt brand voice
  • A curious mind who is eager to learn and research new areas of exploration constantly
  • Passionate about putting the customer first
  • Foundational analytical experience preferred with an eagerness to learn more about data and analytics
  • Some basic HTML experience preferred but not required
