The Email/Text Marketing Channel Specialist will deliver personalized digital communications that help drive our business goals and help grow our email and text message capabilities as our business expands. The channel specialist will work across verticals and with external partners to create meaningful campaigns that directly impact CoverMyMeds revenue, strategic themes and mission of helping patients get the medications they need to live healthy lives.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to create clear and engaging digital communications (email & text messaging)
  • Identify opportunities to automate marketing communications and implement personalized journeys
  • Work with our analysts to track campaign performance, analyze results, and communicate success to business partners
  • Benchmark performance against industry and CoverMyMeds standards
  • Work across multiple marketing automation platforms depending on the marketing objective (currently using the Salesforce and Marketo tech stacks)
  • Be the go-to-resource and subject matter expert for all things channel marketing; understand and educate internal and external stakeholders on best practices, tools/software, and industry trends
  • Work with various teams to create and manage campaigns, apply segmentation practices, and honor opt out processes
  • Mitigate risk by optimizing programs for CAN-SPAM & TCPA. Avoid deliverability issues, SPAM complaints and blacklists through device testing, as well as have a general knowledge of other regulations and standards
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors: identify potential business partners and initiate discovery calls
  • Participate and lead meetings with external CoverMyMeds clients as it relates to our product offerings, strategy and timelines


Who You Are

  • You are able to collaborate with members of the Marketing department, other internal departments and external clients
  • You can handle multiple projects with moving deadlines
  • You’re data-driven. You take action on your findings and report key findings to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize projects appropriately


Experience

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • 3+ years of email marketing experience, text message marketing experience a plus
  • You’ve built emails from start to finish in a commonly used email tool (Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) and Marketo preferred, Eloqua, HubSpot, Pardot, Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp or Emma)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
  • You’re proficient in HTML and CSS, have learned other languages (SQL, AMPScript, etc.) and are open to learning new ones
  • You’ve worked in various digital marketing applications
  • Previous exposure to Google Analytics and UTM Tracking Parameters
  • Location: Columbus OH highly preferred, other options Scottsdale, Dallas and Atlanta
