 Email Production Specialist

OVERVIEW:

The Email Production Specialist is responsible for supporting the production and reporting of the consumer and professional newsletter programs in support of Remedy Health Media’s Audience Development objectives.

This role has the primary responsibility of working on the day-to-day production of our scheduled HTML newsletters for our healthcare patient and professional audience. This includes management of the email deployment across multiple systems, setup, and quality control, as well as setup and maintenance of various target lists for each of our eight brands.

Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices (layout, development, and deployment) and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and soft skills, including but not limited to, working independently and well under pressure.

LOCATION: (Remote) CA, CO, DC, FL, IL, MA, MD, MN, MO, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with members of the Audience Development team to create, deploy, and manage campaigns by executing tasks related to audience segmentation, email production, scheduling and deployment.
  • Code in HTML and CSS using Dreamweaver
  • Work with audience development, client success and ad ops teams to ensure that newsletter ads are trafficked properly
  • Test emails across multiple browser configurations and identify any issues
  • Troubleshoot HTML and revise code where necessary to integrate with internal tools and render properly across multiple email clients, browsers, and mobile devices
  • Attention to very granular details: e.g., correct URLs, placement, proper formatting of tracking codes
  • Experience with audience segmentation by identified attributes
  • Use initiative to research and develop code or work-around solutions to solve challenges
  • Manage subscriber data, import and segmentation using a combination of tools and database queries
  • Schedule deployments in NuevoMailer, SendGrid, and Mailchimp, as required
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deployments
  • Monitor the campaign post-deployment to validate completion
  • Track and develop robust campaign documentation, including specific work-around instructions
  • Prepare reports for hand off to other team members and key stakeholders

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiar with newsletter ad placement: html coding, tagging, pixel placement
  • Degree in Web Design and Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field(a plus)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in email campaign building and list selection(preferred)
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in front-end web development with strong knowledge of hand-coding(a plus)
  • Previous experience using an enterprise-level ESP(preferred)
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting in multiple browsers or email clients with a strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals(preferred)
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases(a plus)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a remote team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Previous experience in CRM, loyalty, acquisition marketing, and lead management(a plus)
  • Adobe Campaign Manager experience(a plus)
  • Mailchimp experience(a plus)
  • NuevoMailer experience(a plus)
