The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of email marketing and marketing automation activity and collaboration across agency departments to execute integrated, cross-channel campaigns.

  • Review communications, marketing or account-based marketing strategies and offer suggestions on how to best leverage email marketing and align to industry best practices  
  • Implementation of email marketing activities, including email development, calendar administration, list management, QA/testing, scheduling, tagging, deployment and measuring for one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Assist in defining target audience strategy, testing methodology and analyze all aspects of the email programs performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of campaigns and adjusting future email marketing plans as required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript; list segmentation; and other aspects of marketing automation software
  • Maintain industry awareness of trends and create point of view documents
  • Support the Digital Engagement team in the planning and execution of digital experience strategy and conducts discovery and/or planning as needed
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of strategists, content, creative, web, social media, media, and project management professionals to deliver the best customer experience

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in marketing automation, email marketing, and lead generation
  • Proven experience building emails, executing campaigns and an understanding of email marketing best practices
  • Working experience in Pardot, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo or Eloqua
  • Knowledge of Enterprise CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  •  Understanding of how to build effective lead generation and nurture programs 
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, self-starter with ability to work towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to problem-solving; providing practical solutions that achieve results
