Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist

Reports to (Direct Title): Digital Marketing Manager, Crocs Japan

Location(s): Tokyo, Japan

Job Summary

Crocs Japan is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with a CRM mindset and hands-on email service provider experience to join our team. This position is responsible for the end-to-end email channel, including ideation, planning and execution of all email campaigns. Email is a critical growth driver for Crocs ecommerce and key goals include lead generation, customer retention and revenue generation. This is a fast paced, hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize and prioritize time sensitive projects. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager of Crocs Japan and will collaborate with global teams in Europe and USA.

Primary Job Duties

  • Based on the Go-To-Market calendar, prepare campaign briefs with focus on copy creation and creative direction. Apply consistent Crocs branding and messaging
  • Manage day-to-day planning, production and sending all email programs including revenue/performance and product focused campaigns
  • Propose and implement improvements to personalization, customer lifecycle, transactional and triggered email campaigns from a CRM perspective
  • Evaluate and optimize all activities with evidence-based analysis including A/B testing
  • Plan and execute email registration campaigns based on active subscribers and revenue targets
  • Assess and implement best practices from global and regional teams

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: University bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience: 3+ years experience as Email Marketing or CRM specialist

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Operational excellence is required: accurate images, links, audiences, tracking, quality assurance, analysis, reporting etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ExactTarget or major Email Service Provider
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics Omniture and Adobe Audience Manager is preferred
  • Experience working closely with creative/design and technical teams is preferred
  • Analytical mind set, detail oriented, good with numbers and capable to create forecasts on how to optimize the available resources
  • Proven ability to optimize CRM programs which drive revenue and strong understanding of email best practices
  • Strong project and time management skills and self-starter
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional groups
  • Language: Fluent Japanese. Business English (participate in meetings with global teams)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, advanced Excel, Power Point)
