Teachers of Tomorrow seeks a full-time Email Marketing Specialist to help lead all of our marketing, sales, and candidate digital communications for our national teacher certification program.


Position Summary

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting Teachers of Tomorrow’s email program for the purpose of B2C and B2B communication as a sales driving channel. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will follow established best practices with a strong desire to reach set goals in a team environment.


The Email marketing specialist is the critical link between Teachers of Tomorrow and our potential customers as well as existing customers who move through the certification process. The certification process can take a few months for some and years for others. The email marketing specialist will ensure we have the right touchpoints with our potential customers and existing customers and we have the right frequency of outreach.


The Email Marketing Specialist will have very defined performance targets based on number and percentage of conversions in the sales funnel. They will be responsible for continuous improvement of our conversion percentages and will be able to clearly show the impact of their work on our overall financial performance.


The right person for this role must be goal-oriented with demonstrated written communication skills, design skills as well as an ability to leverage email to promote company growth. They must be an outgoing, enthusiastic communicator with people at all levels of an organization. The Email Marketing Specialist flourishes in a small company environment and enjoys the versatility and flexibility necessary to succeed therein.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all email marketing campaigns to potential Teachers of Tomorrow customers including managing leads and drip campaigns to leads
  • Manage email communications to all Teachers of Tomorrow applicants as they move through the sales funnel from applicant to fully hired teacher
  • Analyze and track data from email campaigns to inform decisions on future campaigns
  • Track and demonstrate improvements in sales funnel conversion through email campaign improvements
  • Analyze competitor marketing efforts to ensure Teachers of Tomorrow stays on the leading edge.


Candidate Profile and Experience Prerequisites

·    Bachelor’s degree of higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related fields

·    Minimum 2 years experience designing emails for mass distribution

·    Experience with Pardot/Salesforce

·    Familiarity with email drip campaign automation

·    Experience in tracking email data, formulating reports and conducting A/B testing

·    Basic knowledge of HTML

·    Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite

·    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel or comparative program

·    Work in a team environment

·    Quick learner who can adjust to change and growth

·    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
