Position Summary
This position supports the development of assigned marketing strategies while leading execution of member-centric, multi-channel marketing and communication strategies for the email communications channel, driving improved membership acquisition and engagement.This position is generally for a marketer that has proven proficiency in the fundamentals of marketing creation, ROI analysis, and execution process in a performance-based culture.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Gathers and leverages consumer or member insights from multiple sources to identify strategic opportunities for the email communications channel . Stays on top of channel best practices in the industry.
- Collaborates on less-complex multi-channel strategies to drive membership acquisition, retention, or product engagement through the email communications channel .
- Collaborates with business & technology partners to align email marketing strategy with product, pricing, & operational strategies
- Partners with internal marketing strategists/analysts and technologists (IT) to optimize and execute strategies in context of channel best practices, technology/data needs, and project objectives.
- Partners with internal creative team, directing marketing asset creation to ensure channel best practices and process from concept through delivery
- Develops, executes and reports on testing plans that drive improved performance
- Measures channel performance against defined metrics, partnering with internal marketing strategists/analysts and analytics teams
- Packages and delivers campaign results to key stakeholders in an effective, timely manner
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years relevant marketing experience
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proficiency in the fundamentals of today's marketing culture
- Detail oriented and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service and project management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions
Preferred Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of general marketing experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
