Email Marketing Specialist

As our Email Marketing Specialist, you will help manage our email marketing campaigns, monthly newsletters, chat bots, social presence, and web forms. You'll develop and execute promotional marketing campaigns and creation of workflows and processes. The Email Marketing Specialist will follow industry trends, keep up on best practices, and use your experience, knowledge, and creativity to try new things that’ll keep us on the cutting-edge.


Your responsibilities:

  • Assist with the touchpoint strategy for distinct customer & product segments
  • Construct journeys to move customers through distinct marketing funnels
  • Refresh and optimize each tactic for improved performance
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop campaign materials and messaging
  • Manage, monitor, and improve membership performance in email campaigns
  • Assist in copywriting for email; apply personalization to increase performance
  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using data to influence their decisions
  • Manage a project timeline effectively, and own individual projects


Your qualifications:

  • 1+ years of marketing experience / related internships, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience using marketing automation tools (i.e. Mandrill, MarketingCloud, Pardot)
  • Analytical skills and ability to identify, interpret, and use marketing analytics 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed and able to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Treats others with respect and dignity at all times
