Gannett's Ram Racing/Rugged Races/Enmotive is the nation's premier racing company, bringing stellar running events (currently virtually) to Chicago and the rest of the country, including the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k, the DC Wonder WomanTM Virtual Run, and more. All candidates must have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of email marketing campaigns including development, setup, targeting and testing to deployment and data monitoring
• Implement dynamic coding for personalization and segmentation of emails, scaling emails across many markets/races
• Analyze email campaign performance, providing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of campaigns and adjusting the email marketing plan
• Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
• Ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
• Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
• Manage a clean email subscriber database alongside Integrated Marketing Manager

Requirements

• Must have experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget or similar
• Proven work experience as an email marketing associate
• Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS and content management systems
• Proficiency in dynamic content management
• Ability to report on metrics and alter plans where needed
• Strong project management skills
• An ability to work under tight deadlines
• Degree in Marketing or relevant field
