We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to provide high-capacity leverage to our team and company's B2C marketing process, client communications and strategies.

As our Email Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our event marketing managers and our copywriting team, and ensure that we are executing our communications to exceed our business needs and outcomes.

THE DETAILS

🚀 This role is for an experienced and detail-oriented marketing communications expert who is looking to develop a world-class brand’s existing marketing and communications strategies.

✉️ Our Email Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Mastermind Marketing team and will focus on executing and continually innovating on the company's B2C copy and strategy.

📉 A central part of this role will be using and leveraging data, metrics and analytics to accelerate the company's already rapid growth.

📱 This is also a unique and challenging opportunity to expand and continuously optimize the company's email and SMS marketing program.

💸 We provide excellent compensation based on experience, starting at $85k-$95k/ year with potential for additional end of year bonus based on performance.This is a full-time managerial employment opportunity that offers career growth and full benefits.

THE ROLE

• Manage the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns from Ideation to deployment
• Manage outbound email traffic – supporting event marketing, mastermind programs, and other promotional activities
• Demonstrate high competency and capacity for working in dynamic, fast-paced, tight-knit team environments
• Create email marketing reports to measure campaign performance and shares insights with key stakeholders
• Possess proven experience, ensuring overall success and growth of our team and outcomes

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the strategy of what and how we are communicating with all of our different client segments on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis to maximize engagement and revenue opportunities.
• Create and manage the global communications calendar to ensure we are sending the right messages at the right time
• Lead our copywriting team and our marketing operations team to execute the strategy and calendar outlined
• Own the process of selecting which content/offers will be sent to each client segment on a weekly basis and work as a manager in distributing this to relevant team members and holding them accountable
• Analyze email and SMS campaign effectiveness based on key metrics (e.g. open/click/CTO rates, opt-outs, revenue contribution, etc.) and own the optimization process alongside copywriters and marketing ops.
• Monitor email campaign deliverability, ensuring high inbox success rates
• Be the expert on email best practices, technologies, trends, and CAN-SPAM (and similar) laws.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of email database marketing experience; experience with a 1+ million database strongly preferred; experience with SMS initiatives a plus
• In-depth, hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform, preferably Hubspot
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintains elegance, grace and an upbeat attitude through the ebbs and flows of an event-based business cycle, last-minute changes, urgent requests and changes in direction or priorities
• High energy, self-driven, accountable, team player, and excellent at follow-up communication
• Experience as a copywriter with the ability to uphold a high standard for our marketing messages is a required
