About SafelyYou

Our company spun out of the UC Berkeley AI Research Lab and develops artificial intelligence for managed Alzheimer's care to reduce the frequency and impact of falls, the leading cause of hospitalization for those living with dementia. Our mission is to elevate the quality of dementia care and make it accessible to more people, and we work toward that every day by creating safer environments and improving resident well-being in senior living, educating people about dementia care and fall prevention, and supporting the elevation of fall management in senior living communities and care centers. We have peer-reviewed results showing an average of 40% fewer falls and 80% fewer ER visits from falls for communities currently using SafelyYou. We've raised capital from top VC firms including Eclipse Ventures, Data Collective, Foundation Capital, and Founder’s Fund. Additionally, we’ve been awarded multiple research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation to continue our efforts in proving clinical outcomes. Our CEO, George Netscher, has been named a 2021 Future Leader by Senior Housing News.
