At Obviously AI, we are looking for a talented Email marketing manager to take the lead with our email marketing strategies. Your main duties include running email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email databases and creating newsletters and analyzing campaign performance to optimize conversion through the funnel. If you’re interested in web technologies and can generate innovative ideas to increase sales, we would like to meet you.


As an Email marketing manager, your role is to reach customers through email campaigns and inform them about new products and events. Ultimately, you should be able to promote our brand and ensure our customers stay in touch with our company updates. Ideally you are a self-starter who isn’t intimidated by data science. If you are a data junkie with a knack for demand gen, email marketing, and metrics, this is a chance to join a growing company in an exciting, futuristic industry. You will report directly to the Marketing Director and will be involved with the team at large.


Location: San Francisco, CA OR Remote (within US)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 Annually

Stock Options: 0.1% - 0.2% Equity

Type: Full-Time


Responsibilities

  • Develop email communication strategy to identify the best way to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth
  • Lead all technical aspects of email marketing, including list management, set up, scheduling, testing, deployment and reporting
  • Execute and refine the overarching CRM strategy and manage the email campaign process end-to-end, including planning, targeting, segmentation, set-up and testing
  • Own email automation and campaign performance analysis, curate and use analytics dashboards to uncover trends and measure results
  • Use a marketing automation platform to set up email and push campaigns as well as our in product messaging platform to educate, engage, and convert prospects.
  • Expertise building marketing automation campaigns using tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Pardot, Marketo or Eloqua (we currently use Close but are open to your input)
  • Strongly analytical, including using data to derive insights, produce regular reporting, and perform A/B testing and analysis
  • Use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic with an eye toward enticing visitors into an email marketing funnel


Requirements

  • Experience working in B2B marketing, preferably SaaS
  • 4+ years of experience as an Email marketing manager or Digital marketing specialist
  • Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with analytical, database and CRM tools
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to understand the basics of data science
