Who You Are

You are a highly-motivated, results-oriented marketer with experience in customer retention and growing Customer Lifetime Value. You will own all email marketing initiatives (including one-off, recurring, and triggered automation campaigns) from production to analysis, through testing and deployment. You love data and analytics and can think critically about customer needs and segmentation strategies. You have a background in ecommerce and proven success working in cross-functional teams. This role is key to overall growth and will have a direct impact on Net32's long term success.

Responsibilities

  • Execute email marketing campaigns including setup and design, content creation, proofreading, testing, approvals, scheduling, and implementation
  • Perform database segmentation, identify target audiences, create email lists, purge non-deliverable addresses, opt-outs and recipients unlikely to engage
  • Ensure that email creative is visually compelling and on-brand, with appropriate and current Net32 language
  • Track, analyze and report on KPIs of email campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • A/B test subject lines and creative and build winning attributes into future email campaigns
  • Use UTM tracking & review email heatmaps for improved email performance
  • Create and maintain email marketing calendar
  • Implement automated nurture and drip campaigns to keep subscribers engaged
  • Plan, execute & test multi-touch email campaigns to increase sales funnel velocity and opportunity conversion
  • Work with relevant third-party publications to manage and coordinate paid email campaigns as needed
  • Identify and launch additional programs to grow Customer Lifetime Value beyond email (e.g. customer loyalty, referral or other relevant programs)


Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 3+ years of professional experience in email marketing and automation
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a deep focus on retention and lifecycle
  • Experience executing day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns
  • Experience with email automation systems (Klaviyo experience highly preferred)
  • Experience in A/B & multivariate testing execution
  • 1+ years copywriting experience for email preferred
  • Excellent project management, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of current digital and email marketing industry best practices, trends, and challenges (CAN-Spam compliance, responsive design, deliverability, testing, email performance metrics, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to initiate projects and execute from start to finish.
