We are currently looking for a new Email Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team. Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, MDLIVE has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding, and each role day-to-day. 

MDLIVE is seeking a detail-oriented marketer with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems, maintain deadlines on our marketing calendar, and focus on consistent improvement through measurement and reporting. As the Email Marketing Manager, you will use your communication and organizational skills to ensure jobs are done on time, on budget, and on-schedule. Most importantly, every job meets the quality standards of MDLIVE.

What you’ll do? 

The Email Marketing Manager will report to the Director, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing and will coordinate activities between marketing and sales/account teams. The Email Marketing Manager will schedule, assign, track, and QA material to ensure all projects flow efficiently, identify issues in work flows, and propose new processes that improve MDLIVE’s marketing execution. MDLIVE produces a wide range of content including emails, push notifications, direct mailers, social media posts, and more.

You will also:

  • Assign, schedule, route, prioritize, proof and finalize marketing projects, including emails, push notifications, direct mail, and more
  • Design emails based on creative team instruction, including template creation, segment building, and program scheduling rules
  • Coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders including MDLIVE’s internal creative team and 3rd party vendors
  • Track and report on results from marketing campaigns to recommend improvements and update cross-functional teams on performance
  • Provide CRM Director with regular performance updates including tracking against budget or other targets, as applicable
  • Maintain marketing style guides, branding and content guidelines in partnership with creative team and ensure assets meet standards
  • Maintain historical information in team shared drives and be the go-to expert on past executions including what we did and how it performed
  • Troubleshoot problems and find creative solutions to meet last minute deadlines
  • Understand our marketing automation platform and how the marketing team utilizes the program
  • Assist the CRM Director with weekly team meetings and status meetings for marketing team projects
  • Maintain vendor list and interface directly with vendors as needed

What skills and experience do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related or higher required
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Traffic Manager, Email Manager, or similar in a fast-paced environment
  • Healthcare or other regulated industry experience is a plus
  • General understanding of print and web design requirements
  • Expertise in building emails and email programs in Marketo, Salesforce, or similar tool
  • Expertise constructing and sending push notifications and mobile app messaging in Braze or similar CRM tool
  • Familiarity with organic social media scheduling and reporting a plus
  • Strong process management experience, including excellent time management
  • Proven ability to be flexible to meet production deadlines and problem solve creatively to address challenges that arise
  • High energy, innovative, proactive and resourceful
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals, vendors and cross-functional teams
