IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 10 million students worldwide, is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to elevate our email marketing program and grow and engage our customer base of educators and families. 

You will lead the strategy and execution of our B2B (teachers, administrators) and B2C (parents) campaigns, with the goals of driving growth and building strong engagement among our existing customer base. You’ll also partner with Marketing and Product team members to develop and implement new strategies—and improve upon existing ones.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Own and execute the IXL email strategy, and identify opportunities for customer growth and retention (including but not limited to lead generation, engagement, onboarding, upsell, re-engagement, and transactional emails)
  • Continuously improve upon our email marketing processes, including campaign development, email design, segmentation, personalization, and more
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to develop clean and engaging email designs 
  • Monitor analytics and conduct A/B testing to refine our email strategy
  • Ensure success of email execution, QA, deliverability, and maintenance of our database; assist with deployment of emails as needed
  • Work with various teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Design, Engineering, to develop and execute campaigns


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years of email marketing experience in both B2B and B2C; experience with SaaS or subscription-based services preferred
  • Experience with ESPs such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud from top to bottom, including building triggered email programs, managing lists, executing email sends, and more
  • You get things done: You’re a self starter, organized, resourceful, and have the ability to manage projects from start to finish
  • You care about the details: You have an eye for design, a good instinct for what email content will resonate with consumers, and triple-check every email before it’s sent
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills: You’re a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work cross-functionally
