Your Impact


As the Manager of E-mail Marketing you will be working with the editorial, creative, and product teams to lead the expansion of our newsletter strategy. This position will own the product strategy and newsletter performance across all of the top magazine brands in the industry including: Car and Driver, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Elle Décor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s Bazaar, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, Redbook, Popular Mechanics, Road and Track, Seventeen, Town and Country, Veranda, and Woman’s Day, Delish, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, Runner’s World, Bicycling and Bestproducts.com.

 

What you’ll do


·      Define and execute newsletter strategy for editorial newsletters focused on increasing engagement, affiliate ecommerce revenue, and membership conversions

·      Set and manage best practices around list maintenance, welcome and winback series, ecommerce triggers, and testing framework

·      Work closely with editorial to help grow and optimize editorial newsletters that resonate with our audience through

·      Determine the best deployment strategy by site and empower editorial with the tools and best practices necessary to execute that strategy

·      Own the vendor relationship of our ESP and related partners

·      Own organic list growth initiatives

·      Work with edit and creative teams to implement new template designs

·      Manage the preference center flow and creation of new lists 

·      Create dashboards and reporting for senior management

 

Who you are


·      You have 4+ years of email marketing experience, preferably within content-based newsletters

·      You have an exemplary understanding of email best practices

·      You have hands-on experience with email from creation, deployment, and post-mortem analytics

·      You have hands-on experience with Sailthru or a similar ESP

·      You have HTML coding experience, particularly for email

·      You have experience with WYSIWYG and dynamic tool

·      You are an expert in email compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, CASL)

·      You have excellent communication and presentation skills

·      You have experience with Google Analytics

·      You are highly organized, adaptable, and motivated individual who can juggle multiple projects and initiatives across a multitude of teams and brands

·      You have strong knowledge of MS office suite

·      Experience in lifestyle editorial a plus
