The Mission: to grow Felix Gray's profitable revenue by leveraging email to remonetizing existing customers and more efficiently convert prospective new customers.

What You'll Do

The Email Marketing Manager will wholly own Klaviyo and the email marketing program at Felix Gray. This role will develop email program expertise and contribute recommendations to support holistic growth marketing strategy and initiatives. Significant functions of this role will include analysis and optimization of: customer data, list segmentation, list health, email flows, and campaign performance. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Performance Marketing, and work closely with acquisition marketing and creative functions to continually grow the email marketing program. This role has the opportunity to be promoted into a Retention and Lifecycle Marketing Manager where they would be expected to contribute more strategically on retention initiatives.


  • Own all email marketing across leads and customers, deploying effective campaigns for marketing initiatives including product drops, holidays, win-back series, cross/up-selling product suite
  • Build and deploy all email campaigns, leveraging Klaviyo to flawlessly deliver targeted, effective messaging to our customers
  • Analyze and optimize one-off campaigns and automated workflows, understanding key performance drivers and developing best practices to maximize effectiveness
  • Launch A/B tests across messaging, creative, promotion, and landing pages, maintaining an ongoing testing framework and reporting regularly on test results
  • Leverage 1st and 3rd party data to further develop audience surveying, segmentation, creating personalized messaging across email/SMS to achieve relevant, targeted messaging (Example: Do you have children between the ages of 4-12 years old > Kid’s email flow)
  • Drive subscriber growth for Felix Gray, with a focus on driving high LTV and acquiring better customers
  • Partner closely with Creative team to create consistent, brand-driven messaging and visual design, balancing industry best practices with brand identity

Must-have Qualifications Include

  • 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in email or retention marketing (granular optimization and execution experience necessary)
  • Proven ability to drive creative solutions and accomplish tasks in a timely manner
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving results
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative team player
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and drive processes, even when resources are limited
  • Hungry to grow within a fast-paced company; eager to take on new tasks and help where needed in order to grow
  • Proactive in thought and execution, you're always 1 step ahead and can quickly analyze situations to find the best solution
  • Strong experience and enthusiasm for pulling and analyzing platform marketing data, for an e-commerce company, while optimizing toward revenue goal
  • Thoroughly understand platform optimization levers, and when each should be used
  • Experience in Google Analytics
  • Quick learner, with the desire to become a more fulsome Retention Managers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Responsible and accountable, adapts quickly and positively to change
  • Eager to analyze, optimize and problem solve within existing channels, while also able to retain information and apply it in future situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
