Our Opportunity: Chewy is looking for a customer-centric and data-driven Email Marketing Manager who will manage and execute the email marketing program for Chewy’s most active and pet-obsessed customers. This role will be responsible for the planning, execution and measurement of promotional email marketing campaigns that increase customer engagement and drive incremental sales. This role is in Dania Beach, Florida and sits on a team of email marketers and developers who are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.


What You'll Do

  • Manage the promotional email program for all Business Units with an emphasis to drive incremental revenue
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns in our ESP
  • Leverage CRM data to drive a personalized and contextual experiences to increase revenue
  • Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Maintain and optimize a testing agenda for A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Drive a costumer first approach to all email experiences
  • Lead prompt and accurate communication across multiple departments: marketing, customer service, merchandising and supply chain
  • Be knowledgeable on email best practices, technologies, and trends
  • Identify target audiences and align them to business objectives


What You'll Need

  • A passion and track record for customer-centric marketing
  • 5+ years of email and/or direct marketing experience; ecommerce preferred
  • Bachelors degree, Masters a plus
  • Interpret and identify insights through data
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing campaigns through an enterprise ESP (Responsys or Sales Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Understanding of Customer Data and CRM platforms
  • Experience with an email optimization and personalization platforms (Movable Ink) and project management tools (JIRA) required
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to clearly articulate information that influences data-driven business decisions
  • Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Proven experience in an email management function and outstanding attention to detail


Bonus

  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
