CAMP is a Family Experience Company that helps answer the question “What should we do today?” through a unique combination of Retail & Media. Launched in December of 2018, CAMP operates six retail locations in New York, Texas and Connecticut and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.

CAMP will open stores in NJ, Los Angeles and MA in the coming months.


What is the Role?

We are looking for a top-notch CRM/email marketer to develop and execute integrated email programs and initiatives to drive higher engagement and retention within our customer base. Our ideal candidate is a creative, analytical, and curious self-starter who can multitask and lead. You’ll need to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution and love representing the voice of our company to cultivate positive customer experiences. The role will report to our CMO, Chris Spadaccini, and work closely with other channel leaders to enhance the reach and impact of our customer engagement initiatives for all segments of the market.


What will you do at CAMP?

  • Developing and evolving the overall email marketing strategy to ensure alignment with CAMP’s business objectives, goals, and priorities
  • Owning and supporting the marketing email operational process, partnering closely with the Content, Creative and Partnerships teams
  • Owning email production and deployment: designing, scheduling, executing, testing and optimization
  • Building and optimizing segmentation and email content personalization strategies by leveraging user behavior and activity data
  • Researching and developing an iterative testing strategy to gain insights and continuously improve the customer experience through optimized messaging and targeting
  • Monitoring and reporting key metrics including email delivery, unsubscribe rate, email metrics, and business metrics
  • Communicating key learnings, actionable hindsights, and recommend new opportunities to leadership


What will you bring to CAMP?

  • 3-5 years of experience in an email/ lifecycle marketing role
  • Deep knowledge of CRM, marketing, and analytics tools
  • Experience operating both strategically and tactically in a high energy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience using data to develop and measure marketing programs
  • Thrives in fluid, demanding environments and can juggle competing high-priority projects
  • Can comfortably and effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • High proficiency in marketing automation technology and ESPs
  • Hands-on experience with HTML and responsive email templates a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Candidate must be local to New York or Los Angeles
