The Marketing team at Hays Recruitment is looking for an Email Marketing Lead to join to own and grow the department.

Your new role
As the Associate Marketing Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing. Some of the responsibilities of the Associate Manager include, but not limited to: Customer segmentation and e-mail management to support the lifecycle and marketing efforts and objectives. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing, The IT department, the Global Data and eCRM team and Front Office systems teams to better incorporate and leverage the CRM, cSAT, SMS, ChatBots and web data in our e-mails, to deliver market leading experiences. You will also be the e-mail workflow programme build owner, where you’ll be responsible for A/B testing and collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize the client and candidate journey (across all channels). Ensuring all email nurture journeys are performing against key KPIs.
Some of the other direct responsibilities are the data analytics and insight lead for all Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) journeys, the BAU and Campaign e-mail deployment and lastly leading, coaching and managing a direct report with the goal of growing your department to a high performing, and highly integrated eCRM team.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as the Associate Manager you must have the following: solid experiences in delivering email and automated marketing campaigns to support a complex corporate environment, through integrated Salesforce Marketing Cloud marketing automation tool, ideally enterprise level. Experience in targeting, segmentation, personalisation and campaign optimization / analysis.
Good understanding of SQL, Salesforce AMP script and Salesforce marketing cloud personalisation, and experience of using these in conjunction with data management tools (e.g. Tealium). Moreover, a Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the ability to use formulas, functions and pivot.
Some of the experiences that would be helpful to have, but not a must are: knowledge of CASL and other relevant legislation. Knowledge/experience of using systems Tealium and Dreamweaver. Experience of integrating email marketing with SEO activity and other on and offline communications e.g. SMS and lastly, line management experience.
