Here in the Email team, we work with stakeholders from all areas of the Sainsbury’s business to create engaging and personalised communications for our customers. We manage all of the emails for Sainsbury’s Food, Sainsbury’s Home, Tu Clothing, Argos and Argos ROI.

As our Email Marketing Executive your role will support the development of email marketing across our multi-brand business for Sainsbury’s, using email HTML experience to optimise templates, efficiencies and automation across the email programmes to improve the relevance for the customer.

The breadth and depth of our customer data is our biggest asset and greatest advantage over our competitors. How we leverage that data in our communications is crucially important as it allows us to be more targeted, more relevant and ultimately more effective. Email is a key channel through which we can engage and communicate with our current customer base to drive sales and brand equity. This role will be accountable for how we unlock the power of our data and email assets to deliver ever more personalised and effective communications across the Sainsbury’s brands, as efficiently as possible.

We are on the look out for email developers with experience of the email marketing channel and industry and who have had experience working with HTML. S alesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be great too or other similar tools! As our Email Marketing Exec - Lead Developer you will b e able to work independently as well as collaborate with other members of the email team and key stakeholders across the business, as well as having the a bility to think strategically both from a customer and commercial point of view. Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is a must too, so if this sounds like you then hit apply!
