The Children’s Place, the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel retailer in North America is looking for an Email Marketing Director. In today’s world, customers expect retailers to know who they are and what they want. The Email Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and driving forward a streamlined and integrated omni-channel customer experience to maximize customer lifetime value through email, text and push notification channels. This high visibility role will require working closely and collaboratively with key business stakeholders to prioritize and analyze customer segments, design the most relevant contact strategies, activate on plans and continuously refine strategies based on performance results.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own the global Email, Text and Push marketing programs
  • Design highly relevant and personalized Customer Experience Strategies that delight customers, foster strong loyalty and contribute to revenue growth by effectively driving customer acquisition and retention 
  • Collaborate and work closely across multi-functional teams to drive alignment, determine priorities and ensure timely activations 
  • Continuously evolve Key Performance Indicators to assess performance and continuously optimize experience strategies 
  • Proactively identify profitable opportunities for The Children’s Place to grow and maintain differentiated value across all the different brands
  • Vendors management
  • Effectively leading teams and managing projects

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in a customer strategy role – preferably in the retail industry  
  • 5+ years of experience with developing and executing email marketing strategies
  • 5+ years of experience with team direct management 
  • Proven experience managing large scale marketing programs with traffic growth and profitable returns
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and execute successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have experience with and working knowledge of full digital landscape
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
