We're looking for an experienced or emerging rock star Email Marketing Automation Specialist, ideally with knowledge of Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Sendgrid, and other top-tier ESP’s to join the VA Claims Insider Marketing team. This role is key to the delivery of prospect & customer journeys that adequately convey our value, vision, and mission in complete alignment with our overarching content & demand gen strategies.

You should be someone who’s passionate about marketing and providing a first-class customer experience that can engage our customers, drives revenue and builds brand loyalty. You must possess a strong understanding of email marketing principles, triggered campaigns, email testing and optimizing performance.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills. This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week, salary range of $45-55K for highly qualified candidates. 100% work-from-home opportunity as we are a virtual company. No travel requirements.

Description:To help us continue our growth at VA Claims Insider (VACI), we are looking for a talented Email Marketing Automation Specialist to take the lead with our email marketing strategies. Your main duties include running email marketing campaigns end-to-end and managing email databases for optimal data integrity.

Ultimately, you should be able to promote our brand and ensure our customers stay in touch with our company updates. We’re a startup, so you’ll have autonomy but be expected to manage tasks and responsibilities to meet the department and company goals.

Responsibilities And Duties

Plan, build and execute cross-channel communications, campaigns and nurture programs in a flexible and timely manner

Manage set-up and configuration of data-driven campaigns ensuring deliverability

Working with stakeholders create and implement test strategies, including A/B multivariant testing that maximise conversions

Understand workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle

Solid technical skills and expertise with HTML and CSS optimized for email deployment

Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling

Ensure mobile-friendly email templates

Create / collect copy for email communications, including internal company updates

Optimize our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features

Construct & manage our email databases to ensure list hygiene & integrity

Oversee campaigns from creation to reporting to analysis with suggested improvements

Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts

Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

Keen eye and aptitude for trouble-shooting with solutions led approach

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Proven work experience as an Email Marketing Automation Specialist or Digital Marketing Operations

Expert understanding of ESP’s including, but not limited to, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Sendgrid, Sendy / AWS hosted

Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems

Proficiency in marketing automation technology

Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics

Familiarity with analytical and database tools

Excellent written communication and copywriting skills

Strong project management skills

An ability to work under tight deadlines

Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced environment

Goal-oriented, organized team player

Ability to provide past applicable work examples upon request
