We have an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to join our growing marketing team. At PetHonesty, we’re on a mission to make dogs healthier and owners happier. PetHonesty is a fast-growth, leading e-commerce company focused on pet health/nutrition; we’re passionate about serving our customers and their fur babies. Our goal is to help 10 million dogs by 2024!

Reporting to the Director of Retention, the Email Marketing Associate will manage strategy and execution of email marketing initiatives. Klaviyo experience preferred.

PetHonesty has offices in New York City, NY and Austin, TX. This role will be based out of the New York City office.

How you'll contribute to PetHonesty's success:

  • Conceptualize and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Build, manage and optimize automated email flows
  • Assist with content calendar and creation, and segmentation strategies
  • Deploy new retention channels to support LTV growth
  • Analyze and report on key KPIs including revenue, profitability, activation rates, and churn
  • Leverage analytic tools to report and inform future marketing efforts
  • Keep updated on industry and competitive trends and regularly informing the team of noteworthy news items and opportunities
  • Optimize deliverability, open rates and click-through-rate
  • Ensure domain health with key Inbox Providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc)

What we're looking for:

  • 1-3 years of email marketing experience
  • Track record of analyzing email marketing metrics, and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience leveraging marketing automation tools
  • A scrappy self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and drive projects to completion
  • Have a strong work ethic, love of testing, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Effective communicator with internal teams or external vendors
  • Highly analytical. Have the ability to analyze and translate data into actionable plans
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HTML, Klaviyo, and Shopify (Attentive is a plus but not required)
  • Passion for pets
