Here in the Email team, we work with stakeholders from all areas of the Sainsbury’s business to create engaging and personalised communications for our customers. We manage all of the emails for Sainsbury’s Food, Sainsbury’s Home, Tu Clothing, Argos and Argos ROI.
Sitting within Digital Marketing, we have a strong focus on innovation and tech improvements, and we like to challenge the status quo. We’re always looking for ways to refresh and improve our programme, as well as keeping a close eye on our competitors.

As our email marketing assistant you will s upport the Email Marketing team to deliver the business email marketing plan, focusing on delivering our customer and commercial goals across all brands and categories. You will w ork with internal and agency creative teams to brief and develop the email creative for all campaigns in accordance with our brand guidelines. You'll need to have an analytical thought process as part of your role will be to m onitor KPIs closely and optimise campaigns based on learnings as well as identifying wider trends in performance and areas to improve within our email programme. You'll also be sharing w eekly reporting to share channel performance with key stakeholders across the business.
In terms of experience? Well we're quite open. Email marketing experience would obviously be preferred but candidates with go od project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously whilst being able to display c reative flair and ability to review use of formats, copy and brand alignment within communications will suit this role. You will also need e xcellent attention to detail, including accuracy of spelling, grammar and punctuation, g ood analytical knowledge ans show you're able to use Microsoft Excel to generate reports on campaign and channel performance.
