We are looking for a true all-star with a passion for email marketing to help us build out our outstanding marketing organization.
The Email Marketing Analyst will be responsible for carrying out and reporting on customer- and prospect-facing email marketing communications focusing primarily on events across two regions, but also including demand generation emails, nurture programs, and email newsletters. They will work closely with various cross-functional partners to drive campaign performance through groundbreaking email marketing programs.
The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker with high attention to detail and solid experience working on large scale email marketing campaigns from beginning to end.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop email communication strategy with various internal partners to identify proper approach to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth;
- Lead email campaigns on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting;
- Client management of internal partners acting as an internal email consultant on email marketing best practices from audience segmentation to copy;
- Establish key metrics, create review cycle, and provide insights on customer intelligence;
- Partner with creative and campaign teams to optimize content;
- Work with other digital marketing teams to develop cross-channel communication strategy;
- Recommend and implement email best practices across the global organization
- Create automated, multi-touch, targeted customer lifecycle digital marketing programs;
- Establish key metrics, create review cycle, and provide insights on customer intelligence;
- Partner with creative and campaign teams to optimize template design and content;
- Work with other digital marketing teams to develop cross-channel communication strategy;
- Recommend and implement email best practices across the global organization
Required Skills/experience
- High energy with the ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
- 2-4 years experience in either Email Marketing, Online Marketing, or Database Marketing
- Experience crafting and sending large scale email campaigns
- Proven record of meeting campaign performance goals
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices
- Experience with A/B test plan methodologies and reporting
- Skilled in data analysis, and reporting results and presenting analysis.
- Experience working with premier Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Eloqua, CheetahMail, Responsys, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of HTML / CSS. Comfortable reading, editing and making email design changes using Adobe Dreamweaver. Familiarity with Photoshop for image cropping a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and fundamentals based on data-driven marketing tactics. Familiarity with database management. Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
