The Email Lifecycle Manager will be the visionary behind key demand-driving lifecycle and loyalty email campaigns. This role will be focused on bringing to life an ever expanding suite of triggered emails. The core responsibilities will include the ideation and creation of customer-facing campaigns, overseeing the creative process and optimizing performance over time. This person will be a leading partner in driving enhancements to triggered campaigns, should be able to understand complex workflow configuration, and how to leverage our ESP to achieve business goals. The candidate selected for this role should easily demonstrate a passion for marketing and creating a first-class experience for customers.


The successful candidate will also have a proven track record for analyzing reporting and coming to key decisions based on historical performance. This is a highly collaborative position and you’ll work with multiple departments across the organization including marketing analytics, creative and data science.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ideate new automated email campaigns, triggered by customer actions on and off site to support key business opportunities
  • Develop business requirement documents (BRD’s) and creative briefs to define requirements of the new campaign and showcase the creative inspiration for bringing each campaign to life
  • Communicate clearly with creative team to provide constructive feedback based on best in class practices and testing data
  • Collaborate closely with the data science team, engineering and email team on incorporating various customer models


Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

  • 2+ years experience managing email marketing with a focus on creating lifecycle campaigns
  • 2+ years experience in CRM, customer journey mapping and marketing
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience of solving problems through analytics
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript or C++
  • Advanced experience with email service providers
  • Must possess an acute attention to detail and foresight
  • Good understanding of prioritizing workload using Agile Development Principles
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects successfully under tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments in multiple disciplines
  • Utilize strong communication skills to inform email team of status of issues or projects and to resolve conflict where confusion may arise
