Job Title: Email Deployment Specialist

Reports To: Senior Global Automation Platform Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN (or remote if needed)


Do you like working in a large team, with many fellow marketers to grow with? Do you enjoy quality assurance and the technical side of marketing? Do you like learning new processes and systems in a developing SaaS environment? If so, then this role may be for you!


What this role is: Our team builds the foundations of HTML email templates, Eloqua send automations, and Salesforce CRM integrations. Our email process supports 100+ global marketers and their campaigns for nurture automation, digital and physical events.


This person will help build audience segments and send automations in our ESP, to support digital marketing campaigns for the global Genesys brand and marketers. This is a process[1]oriented role. Strong candidates are organized and enjoy project management and supporting relationships with many team members.


What this role isn’t: This is not campaign strategy. This role requires a partnership with stakeholders, to help build branded Genesys email campaigns with a focus on understanding of lead routing, quality assurance, and email send process at scale.


What you’ll bring to the table: To be successful, you need to have a mind for technical details, and patience to build a complex lead routing process. It is important that this candidate has a strong eye for detail to walk through automations end-to-end as processes are created for QA, or solutioning any technical error. The role also requires regular review of stakeholder campaigns and performance to provide feedback and areas of improvement to the team. An eye on performance is a must. A basic understanding of HTML coding for email is helpful but can be taught as needed.


Some details about what you will do:

  • Work collaboratively with Campaigns and Marketing Operations teams to maintain the Genesys email automation process.
  • Help utilizing and teaching back-end systems for reporting:
  • Everest for Inbox placement
  • Eloqua for email performance
  • Tableau for channel attribution to sales process Minimum Requirements:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire and interest in technical problem-solving
  • Organization skills to track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to explain complex concepts succinctly to international teammates Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of Marketing Automation platform experience in an enterprise ESP such as Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or IBM Watson
  • Familiarity with reporting methods to communicate performance to stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer Science
