Join us as an Email/CRM Manager and you’ll get the opportunity to design and deliver our email strategy to drive brand engagement, growth and lifetime value.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage all aspects of email & SMS activity across both Retail and Trade, encouraging repeat business, retention, and loyalty. You’ll take ownership of email campaign planning and coordinating the creation of assets and landing pages to ensure a seamless user journey across email and website, whilst also making sure all emails align with the wider content plan, are on brand, and render well across different email clients/devices.

By building collaborative relationships and working with the wider team you’ll gain a greater understanding of the trade and consumer customer base through insight, segmentation and data analysis and develop effective reporting routines and systems.  You’ll develop & deliver CRM communication plans and strategies, as well as understanding and identifying opportunities with the current CRM system in terms of usability and business reporting.

How you will qualify for the role

Qualified to degree level in Marketing, IT or a Business-related subject you’ll have extensive experience in email marketing/data marketing/CRM (ideally in a similar industry), hands on campaign development in Marketo and also experience of writing engaging copy and subject lines to target audience segments. You’ll have a strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies and knowledge of GDPR requirements and practices.

With an inquisitive nature and the drive and ambition for continuous improvement you’ll need to be very hands on and flexible in terms of your approach, and definitely possess a “can do” attitude. You should be a good team player who’s always happy to help and support others to meet team deadlines and you’ll need to be able to demonstrate your experience of managing senior stakeholders and your ability to manage and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

You’ll also have superb analytical and presentation skills, combined with excellent skills in planning and project management and it’s helpful if you have an understanding and interest in the home improvement market.

What you’ll get in return

You’ll discover a challenging and rewarding team environment, the opportunity to work on some exciting projects, excellent career and development opportunities and a competitive salary and benefits package which includes pension, life assurance, 23 days holidays rising to 25 with 5 years’ service, discounts with various retailers and a generous colleague discount on our kitchen products.
