Honey Stinger is seeking a email communications specialist to execute email marketing and content story-telling. Writing conversion-focused copy, leading email segmentation, and guiding content creation are all critical aspects of the role. This position will report to the Ecommerce Growth Manager and ensure timely execution of campaigns, flows and SMS messaging. We are looking for a candidate with previous email marketing experience and ability to analyze and optimize for trends and success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead copywriting for all communications to Honey Stinger’s email database with a goal to promote product & brand education, site traffic & conversions.
• Execute email campaigns based on the milestones in the Marketing Calendar – draft necessary copy, input creative requests, and ensure on-time delivery of assets to support initiatives.
• Implement email flows and SMS to increase lifetime value of our current customers or convert potential customers in our database.
• Acquire new Hive emails and ensure a proper welcome to our inclusive community through on-boarding flows, sharing of educational and brand content. Analyze the customer journey from never purchased to top customers. Make recommendations on how to convert and delight.
• Analyze Klaviyo data and ensure KPIs are being met. Implement improvements and propose content modifications when necessary.
• Segment and A/B test campaigns and report back on best practices and relevant ways to improve open rates, click throughs and conversions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Previous experience in a digitally-led company. Functions effortlessly with cross-functional and remote teams. CPG experience is big plus.
• You can create copy quickly without sacrificing brand quality - with or without the support of a brand marketer.
• Basic Klaviyo understanding (or similar email/SMS platform) and experience with email marketing expertise is a must. Ability to analyze data in email platform and provide actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills. Ability to pull together assets, creative needs, and approvals to deliver email campaigns according to schedule.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to rapidly changing timelines. Be prepared with a plan B to fill necessary gaps if needed.
• Results oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, and independent, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; this is a growth company.
• Passionate about athletes and sports nutrition and have your finger on the pulse of these industries.

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
• A professional email marketer with 2+ years of experience. Strong understanding of email trends and best practices.

Annual Salary Range:$55,000 - $70,000
