What you’ll be called: Email Channel Manager

Keller Williams Realty International, ranked as one of The World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in 2019 by Fast Company and headquarters of the No. 1 real estate brokerage in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Email Channel Manager to take the marketing and communications team to the next level.
As our Email Channel Manager, you will be responsible for advancing, enhancing, and optimizing the email channel to ensure our messages are heard, resonate with, and delight both B2B and B2C clients. As the key driver, you will partner with content creators, designers, and developers to elevate our email communications to a level beyond best-in-class.
What you’ll do:
- Understand company priorities, then drive strategy in partnership with key stakeholders to develop a complementary email strategy that supports core goals
- Proactively develop and implement email strategies based on business goals and quick-turn initiatives
- Assess past performance of channel and recommend and gain consensus on clear KPIs, including but not limited to open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates, time on email, and more
- Sync with both content writers and designers to align medium and messaging
- Serve as an advocate for best email practices and continually uncover and share new trends and learnings
- Dive deeply into our email-marketing automation platform (HubSpot) to fully leverage its capabilities in all email marketing efforts
- Train on all new HubSpot capabilities and act as point person between HubSpot and marketing team
- Maintain detailed calendar, intaking requests and configuring optimal send schedule on a daily basis
- Employ A/B and multivariate testing at every opportunity to achieve incremental improvements on all performance goals
- Own data, contact, template, and segmentation integrity, ensuring a highly organized and effective channel
- Recommend strategies built on analytics to further improve email performance and refine messaging and audiences
- Ability to work with data, alongside our Digital Marketing Analyst, to draw actionable insights that drive strategy, including the building and maintenance of customer segments
- Report on progress toward channel and campaign goals back to team
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years experience dedicated to email marketing, preferably in the real estate or tech industry
- 3+ years experience working in HubSpot or similar platform
- HubSpot certifications a strong plus
- HTML and CSS for web or email experience a strong plus
- A thorough knowledge of email marketing best practices
- Strong quantitative skills with an ability to measure campaign and channel performance
- An exceptionally high attention to detail
- The ability to quickly digest information, pivot when needed, and execute at a high level
- Excellent communicator with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
