AMPscript is seeking to hire an Email Campaign Manager. The Email Campaign Manager will be responsible for supporting email campaign deployment facilitation for’s B2B lead generation, new customer acquisition, and retention.

We are looking for an email marketing professional with experience in planning and deploying email marketing campaigns, as well as measuring and optimizing within a B2B lead generation capacity. The email campaign manager will contribute to the launch of campaigns across multiple channels: email, lifecycle, nurture, behavioral trigger, cross-selling and progressive profiling – ensuring optimal delivery, timing and cadence.

What will you do?


  • Helps implement email marketing campaigns by assembling forecast and analytics; working with a team to prepare email marketing assets; scheduling launches in Salesforce Marketing Cloud; notifying sales of campaigns; updating content calendars.
  • Gather, organize and maintain campaign data for on-going programs making it easily accessible for decision-making. Data points include:
  • Campaign performance metrics
  • Initiative-specific URLs, toll-free numbers, and website links
  • Customer targeting information and counts
  • Track campaign success metrics, A/B testing results, revenue generated by channel and by product against forecasts and quotas.
  • Regularly review campaign data to ensure fields are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain organized storage of project samples and electronic samples for sales and other key stakeholders.
  • Support creative campaign development, review and approval process.

  • Test emails pre-launch in Litmus to identify and mitigate any errors with rendering and/or lead generation.
  • Responds to ad hoc requests for current collateral.
  • Responds to requests for presentation updates (ppt).
  • Coordinate the update of email database – unsubscribes, email change requests, etc.
  • Coordinate and log the legal review of campaign assets – landing pages, email copy, ad copy, etc.

What will you bring?


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Marketing automation experience required.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
  • 2 years of experience planning and measuring email marketing programs.
  • Adept knowledge of digital/email marketing best practices – A/B testing, subject line optimization, etc.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer retention strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge in Excel.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment; you can think on your feet and don’t shy away from asking questions.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on deployment experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Hand-on knowledge of enterprise CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
