Who is Coding Dojo?

Coding Dojo is a fast-growing startup that provides a fast-track to becoming a software developer in today's growing tech market. We take people with little to no experience in development and train them to be professional developers in only a matter of weeks, which in turn opens a whole new set of career and economic opportunities for them. We have 10 campuses across the US, and counting


The Opportunity:

Drive the customer engagement lifecycle marketing strategy for Coding Dojo on a national scale with an emphasis on mid-to-low funnel conversion rate optimization. Your challenge is to lead in planning, building and execution of scalable, predictable and repeatable programs that achieve growth targets while improving customer retention. In addition to owning marketing automation, you’ll lead initiatives across marketing operations, sales operations, and conversion optimization.



What you’ll do

  • Work with admissions, customer success, and instructor teams to map customer journey, develop strategies to improve conversion, and lead tests that drive revenue growth
  • Own marketing and sales operations including efforts to empower and scale our admissions team
  • Editor-in-chief for lifecycle marketing efforts - comfortable writing high quality content yourself and editing and upleveling the work of others to achieve high writing and brand standards
  • Measure the performance of growth marketing and lifecycle marketing efforts
  • Periodically evaluate, launch, and configure new tools and platforms


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc.) to segment, engage, and convert leads
  • Experience devising a content schedule and delivering content on a regular basis
  • Comfortable with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Looker, or Tableau
  • General knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic web development concepts/technologies
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills, and an exceptional ability to refine complicated concepts into concise, digestible content
