The Job
As part of the Marketing & Product Operations team, reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will run step-by-step process of email campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating with design, content, and product, defining template structure, structuring A/B tests, setting up campaign and delivery, and reporting on results.
What you'll be doing:
- Strategy and planning for all email and push campaigns
- Lead the development and execution of email and push campaigns
- Ensure all email templates are mobile friendly, utilize personalization, and advanced features Identify target audience, cohort analysis, and audience segments based on customer interests, photography level, and behaviour
- Grow our email list
- Write and proofread emails for clarity, content, grammar, and spelling
- A/B testing for optimal opens, clicks, conversions, calls to action, and content
- Optimize messaging strategy and in a way drives conversion while staying true to brand, voice, and tone
- Analyze and report on campaign performance and how they track towards company key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest improvements
- Create re-engagement campaigns that utilize push notifications and email
- Identify optimization opportunities for email and push components
- You will develop a deep understanding of campaign performance by running reports to track trends in email and push engagement metrics and financial performance
- Work closely with the marketing team on calendar planning, project prioritization, and performance tracking
- Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
- Troubleshooting user issues, related to transactional emails with the Customer Support team
What the ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of email marketing experience
- Deep knowledge of email and push notification standard methodologies and experience designing and executing A/B tests
- You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including prioritizing multiple projects
- Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently derive insights from data
- You have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills
