We are a young, well-funded startup helping companies create memorable, easy-to-plan experiences that inspire dynamic workplaces, encourage healthier offices, and motivate happier, more holistic teams.

Our platform allows companies to seamlessly book fully-customizable, multi-vendor virtual gatherings for their employees in just a few clicks. From online games and hosted game shows to shippable experiences, our platform contains over 100 interesting and unique virtual experiences to support our customers’ desire for fresh and fun ideas. COVID required us to be agile and adaptable, while our versatile team pivoted successfully into the virtual events world. With a vaccine now on the horizon, we are looking forward to the future of events, working towards ONE SINGLE PLATFORM FOR IN-PERSON, HYBRID, AND VIRTUAL EVENTS.

Our platform is already loved by hundreds of companies such as Google, Facebook, Spotify, and many other startups, firms and agencies. We are looking to put together an A-team of incredible individuals who are -- first and foremost -- great, kind humans, in addition to being quick learners, team players, and talented collaborators.

Even before COVID, we dreamed of having a remote team and many remote employees. All positions currently listed are fully virtual, and will continue to be so even once this pandemic is over. With that being said, we’re looking for applicants who are hard-working, self-motivated, skilled with computers and technology, and eager for the chance to learn and grow alongside our company.

If this sounds like you, read on for the job description and apply via the button above or by e-mailing [email protected] today!

Who is the ideal E-mail Marketing Manager candidate?

We're looking for an E-mail Marketing Manager with experience putting together exciting, well-written, and visually appealing e-mails, newsletters, and digital marketing communications. In this position, you’ll be handling all of Confetti’s e-mail marketing initiatives from start to finish, using targeted e-mail marketing campaigns to spark conversations around our event offerings and generate future business opportunities. If you’re a skilled e-mail marketer with experience developing a brand’s voice, a proven track record for putting together fun, creative promotions, and a knack for forging relationships with other people and companies, this is the position for you!

What does the E-mail Marketing Manager do?

Manage and execute all of Confetti’s e-mail marketing campaigns.

Develop and maintain a fun, exciting, and upbeat brand voice, which clearly communicates what Confetti is about and what our event offerings are. In this position, you’ll be working closely with the Product & Content team and the Community & Social Media Manager to ensure Confetti’s brand voice is consistent across all marketing channels: web content, e-mail, and social media.

Create interesting and engaging copy and content that’s specific to targeted segments of Confetti’s audience. In this position, you will be communicating with a variety of different groups: users who have never heard about Confetti, users who have signed up but never booked, users who haven’t booked in a while, users who have booked multiple times, etc. It’s important that you develop operational flows to ensure that users get pulled into the correct segments and are receiving the appropriate e-mail campaigns!

Plan and execute creative and exciting e-mail marketing campaigns that can be tied in with Confetti’s current event offerings. The Confetti website features a ton of specially curated collections for everything from Employee Birthdays to Mardi Gras to International Women’s Day -- there is a truly unlimited amount of inspiration for e-mail content!

Analyze campaigns and track results to develop “best practices” for e-mail marketing. We need to know what works and what doesn’t, how our users could be better segmented and hit with marketing campaigns that are even more targeted and specific, what our open rate / CTR / conversion rate looks like over time, and how we can use that information to make our future e-mail marketing efforts even better!

Use programs like Mailchimp,,, and to source leads and conduct cold e-mail marketing campaigns to identify, approach, and convert potential clients. In this position, you will be responsible for researching new business opportunities, conducting initial outreach, sparking the contact’s interest, and passing contacts off to Account Management for follow-up.

Communicate any operational inefficiencies and product suggestions for the Confetti platform to management and tech team. For example: New features, features changes that would improve the overall readability and understandability of the content, UX adjustment, etc.

Proactively communicate opportunities for improvement within the company -- we are constantly changing and evolving, and as a member of our startup, your creativity will impact the long-term success of the organization!

What you'll bring to the table:

An intense, burning passion for all things e-mail marketing. We’re looking for a REAL PRO -- someone with 2-5 years of experience in this area, who absolutely geeks out about things like CTRs and conversion rates.

1-3 years’ experience in marketing, events, tech, and startups a bonus. Additional experience in sales, prospecting, cold e-mailing, SEO, and PPC advertising would be fantastic as well.

Familiarity with,,, and Intercom a huge plus! Graphic design or illustration experience a bonus.

A genuine desire to learn and grow in the area of e-mail marketing. We’re willing to pay for e-mail marketing courses and certifications for the right person to continue developing their skills and stay on top of the latest practices!

Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to an innate understanding of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, Canva, and more. Additional experience with videoconferencing programs and organizational, database, and task management platforms a plus.

A promotional mindset. We need someone who’s familiar with our brand and passionate about our mission, who can go out into the world to advocate on our behalf and connect the dots with other businesses we’d like to be aligned with!

Superb communication and relationship building abilities. This person should be personable and friendly, care about other people’s happiness and satisfaction, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for diplomacy.

Interest in joining an evolving, growing startup. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with a little bit of chaos and ambiguity, who loves building things from the ground up and scaling them to suit a rapidly expanding company!

Authenticity -- no need to be formal. Come as you are!

Other information:

This position can be either part time, full time, or freelance for the right person.

For the full time position, you would be responsible for all the tasks above, in addition to putting together Confetti’s monthly newsletter. You would also need to be an SEO expert, as you would be responsible for spearheading Confetti’s SEO efforts on top of your e-mail marketing responsibilities.
