BoilerJuice is looking for an experienced email marketing specialist to join our team. As Email Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing our e-CRM campaigns and delivering the email marketing strategy.

About us…

BoilerJuice is an established and profitable UK platform business that connects customers whose homes are oil-heated with suppliers of oil. We keep our customers warm while saving them time and money and we provide a source of cost-effective, easy to process orders to the suppliers we work with. We’re backed by Livingbridge, a leading Private-Equity fund who are investing to grow the business in the UK and beyond. BoilerJuice is a fast-paced environment that encourages a dynamic approach, testing ideas and considered risk-taking.

We have an established growth engine, acquiring customers by using the highest sustainable acquisition cost and building customer lifetime value through life-stage marketing and ‘upgrading’ customers to our subscription service. We are growing fast, have high NPS scores, strong customer retention and a loyal customer base that account for over 50% of our customers. We also have a programme to offset emissions using certified tree-planting.

About you…

You are comfortable managing large scale email marketing campaigns, which include frequent promotional campaigns in peak season, and implementing email automation strategies to make communications timely, relevant, and specific to the customer.

  • Ensure email messaging is mobile-first and optimised across devices.
  • Track and monitor past and current campaign performance.
  • Work with CRM Manager and Marketing Executive to ensure campaign plans and email schedules run smoothly, including a robust proofing process.

Your success will be measured by…

  • Email engagement metrics, including open and click rates, unsubscribe rates, and inbox placement.
  • Expansion of our email automation journeys.
  • Implementation of split and multivariate test and learn initiatives.

You’ll definitely have…

  • 2+ years’ experience creating and launching email campaigns using email marketing automation software, with a specific requirement for Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Proven experience in crafting email campaigns that convert at above industry levels.
  • Strong written English and grammar.
  • Knowledge of HTML, responsive email design, personalisation, and dynamic content.
  • An unbeatable eye for detail, accuracy, and impeccable proofing skills.
  • Experience creating and sending large-scale email campaigns within a modern CRM.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of ISPs, filters, postmasters, deliverability, and inbox placement.
  • Experience with whitelists, blacklists, and authentication
