As the Director of CRM Marketing the expectation is to drive lead conversion, engagement, upsell and retention across the Fundrise investor lifecycle. In partnership with cross-functional leads in growth and product, you will own lifecycle marketing programs to improve KPIs across the entire market funnel. To achieve this growth, you will manage a high-functioning team of CRM Lifecycle Marketers as the team executes across email, in-app messaging, push messaging and text. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading successful lifecycle marketing teams and working collaboratively across multiple organizations to deliver results.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train and manage a talented team of 4-6 lifecycle marketers
  • Collaborate with product and growth leads to drive the customer experience (email, in-app messaging, push messaging and text) across our full funnel experience on different devices and platforms
  • Evaluate and manage the end-to-end customer journey to identify opportunities for lifecycle customization in order to improve our effectiveness
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders, across both acquisition and retention to uncover areas of improvement including the use of personalization and automation
  • Evolve Fundrise’s use of data and insights to build the infrastructure needed to manage the rapidly growing communities of > 1.5MM users and >250K investors
  • Advocate for lifecycle marketing priorities with metrics, reporting team impact across all phases of growth and identifying key areas for resource optimization across lifecycle and marketing


Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of lifecycle/CRM experience
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Extensive experience working with CRM tools Developed growth marketing background including customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and journey mapping through email, push, in app marketing, and SMS
  • Strong analytic skills and experience work with data (Tableau, etc)
  • Exceptional writing skills with an innate ability to translate complex concepts into digestible and actionable language
  • Expert in segmentation, list management, deployment, and lifecycle marketing best practices
  • A creative thinker who can oversee multi-touch campaigns who also has a strong focus on ROI with keen analytical abilities to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources and oversee test and learn initiatives


Preferred Experience

  • Significant lifecycle experience in consumer and/or financial tech
  • Experience working with Iterable
  • Fluent with technical, regulatory, and product side of marketing (audience segmentation, IP deliverability, GDPR, etc)
  • High-EQ leader with a history of building, developing, and retaining outstanding teams
